As a successful candidate, you will:
- Conducts routine and non-routine experiments, recording and validating results.
- Troubleshoots and recommends alternative procedures for unsatisfactory results.
- Accurately records work, calculates, compiles, and analyzes data.
- Evaluates research data and suggests improvements, trains staff in specialized procedures and concepts.
- Assists in manuscript preparation by detailing methods and techniques; stays updated on new techniques.
- Ensures compliance with safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field, with 2 years of post-degree research experience, or 1 year with a Master's degree. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in lab work, and robust record-keeping skills. City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
