Lab Associate

NEW Full Time | Part Time Express Employment Professionals of Covina, CA is seeking Lab Associates for our client located in Monrovia, CA. Lab Associates – $ 18 .40 /HR Shift

Hours:

Mon-Fri 3 : 0 0 P M- 11 : 30 P M

We are looking for Lab Associates who will assist with specimen handling, data entry, and general lab maintenance to ensure accurate and efficient workflow within the laboratory. This is an entry-level role, perfect for candidates with little or no prior experience in a lab environment.

• Receive, unpack, and organize incoming laboratory specimens
• Accurately label and prepare samples for processing or storage
• Dispose of biological waste and materials in accordance with safety protocols
• Enter specimen and patient data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) with high accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory work areas
• Follow all safety guidelines, quality standards, and laboratory procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment
• Basic computer skills for data entry
