Talent Acquisition Specialist for International Drivers

Support J.D. Irving, Limited as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for International Drivers, focusing on recruitment and settlement. This temporary position includes 25-30% travel and a collaborative environment.

This role involves recruiting and supporting foreign commercial drivers during their immigration and onboarding processes. Working alongside the Centre of Excellence, you will handle necessary visa applications, monitor employee legal statuses, and guide newcomers through their settlement journey. Your strong attention to detail and organizational prowess will help manage training and settlement budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualify foreign drivers according to Sunbury standards

• Assist with immigration applications and monitoring

• Maintain records of foreign employees' immigration statuses

• Oversee settlement activities for new hires

• Manage budgets for training and settlement processes

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Business; HR concentration is a plus

• 2-5 years of related work experience

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience with Canadian recruitment and settlement preferred

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities considered an asset
