Executive Director - Philanthropy Leader CFPEI

Become the voice of philanthropy in Prince Edward Island as the Executive Director at the Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island. This role emphasizes strategic partnerships and community-focused leadership.

CFPEI is looking for a dynamic Executive Director to set the strategic vision and operational framework for the Foundation. This senior position requires a relationship-driven individual adept at community engagement and fund development. You will collaborate closely with the operations team while ensuring accountability and strategic alignment across initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive fund development and community outreach initiatives

• Build partnerships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration

• Provide governance support to the Board of Directors

• Monitor organizational performance and financial health

• Engage with community partners to enhance charitable impact

Requirements:

• At least five years of leadership experience in a nonprofit setting

• Proven success in fundraising and community engagement

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Strong governance knowledge and in-depth financial oversight

• Bilingual abilities (English/French) are beneficial
