To assist faculty, staff and administration in providing quality education and instructional activities to students. Working closely under the guidance of Special Education teachers, this individual supports students with diverse learning needs in academic classrooms. The primary goal is to foster independence and assist students in successfully achieving the benchmarks outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

The paid work week is 32-35 hours for a five-day week. Paraprofessionals are entitled to a thirty-minute paid lunch period each day.

The employee will work and be compensated exclusively on days when school is in session for students and during designated staff Professional Development days.

• 1.High school diploma or equivalent:
  Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• 2.Previous experience working with adolescents or individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
• 3.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students, teachers, and instructional staff.
• 4.Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a "growth mindset" regarding student potential, commitment to maintaining student confidentiality, and professional integrity.
