The PositionThe Inventory Clerk ensures that all receiving and cycle counting functions run smooth and efficiently by monitoring inventory while practicing strong organization skills. In a fast‑paced environment like manufacturing, the Inventory Clerk is an integral part of the manufacturing process – they must be competent and comprehend complex and dynamic operations.
Major Responsibilities- Receiving functions – including raw material, internal transfer items, and finished goods customer returns; monitor open inbound shipments, perform receipts after confirming items on delivery, coordinate with quality for any necessary incoming inspections, coordinate with material handler to distribute materials as required, perform systematic receipts required at direction of buyer.
- Cycle count functions – generate cycle count listings, distribute to counters, perform certain counts and data entry, coordinate recounts and investigations with appropriate personnel, track root cause analyses.
- Other inventory functions – monitor raw negative inventory, monitor specific locators for potential missed movements, coordinate other periodic manual counts as directed, ensure OSP transactions occur properly.
- Various administrative support duties – include scrap report, printing and organizing work orders, coil schedule generation, feedback, discrete job schedule update.
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (availability to stay until 4:00 PM as needed).
Knowledge & Skills Required- Attention to detail

- Oracle or production systems (ideal)
- Experience in manufacturing or shipping (ideal)
