Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting.
- Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
- Partner with operations and leadership to analyze financial performance, costs, margins, and business trends.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and treasury activities.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax requirements, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and other outside stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, systems, and overall financial efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role preferred.
- Manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or other operationally complex industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing and developing an accounting team.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- ERP experience and strong proficiency with Excel.
- CPA or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
