Central Scheduling Manager

Northeast Montana Health Services (NEMHS) is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Central Scheduling Manager at Trinity/Poplar Hospital.

• G.E.D. or High School Diploma
• Computer experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology helpful

• Manage employees who complete admission registration, ensure accurate patient registration and billing information, and act as backup to Central Scheduling Receptionists.
• Answer all incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments, ensure proper registration and insurance carrier data entry, transfer calls to appropriate departments, and create IT tickets when the telephone system is not functioning.
• Post and advertise job openings, review resumes, conduct interviews, hire staff, train new employees, review mistakes, and shore up training gaps.
• Document attendance and personnel issues, complete yearly reviews, and support employee success.
• Complete prior authorizations for clinic and pharmacy, coordinating with necessary parties to ensure timely response.
• Review registration errors, identify trends or training gaps, retrain staff as needed, and document errors accordingly.
