The Client Service Technician position is located within the Office of Public Assistance (OPA). In this position you would be the initial contact for the public and providers seeking services from OPA. You would have the opportunity to provide information and assistance, make referrals to food banks, human resource councils and public housing, and to also provide support to Client Eligibility Service Coordinator staff.

What are we looking for?

Education, Knowledge, and

Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Knowledge of general office work and Principles and Practices of Customer Service.
• 2 years of job-related work experience in an office, receptionist, clinic, or related area.
• A positive outlook, dependability, accuracy, and pride with your work.
• Interpersonal, positive minded, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheet, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs.
• Other combinations of directly related education and work experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Preferred experience:

Extensive customer service and computer experience that includes data entry and Windows based navigation. Experience working with tribal government entities and/or other organizations of native peoples.
