Job Title
The city of Templeuve-en-Pévèle, a dynamic community of 7,300 inhabitants in the Pévèle Carembault Community of Communes, is looking for an assistant administrative officer in the "population services" team. Specifically, they are seeking an assistant for urban planning/civil status (male/female). Under the hierarchical authority of the head of population services, the assistant urban planning and civil status officer participates in the daily administrative management and legal security of the community in these areas.
Job DescriptionThe population services department consists of 7 employees (reception, civil status, cemetery, social action, urban planning, secretariat, elections, census). Under the responsibility of the head of population services:
- The administrative assistant for civil status, in coordination with the colleague from the civil status office, is responsible for:
- Receiving declarations and establishing civil status acts
- Welcoming and informing the public
- Preparing marriage and PACS dossiers
- Maintaining civil status registers
- Managing deaths and cemetery matters
- The administrative assistant for urban planning, in coordination with the colleague from the urban planning office, is responsible for:
- Welcoming the public in person and by phone to inform them about current regulations
- Verifying the completeness and registering the dossiers submitted for processing, which will be carried out by the intercommunality
- Participating, with the team, in defining and implementing strategic orientations in urban planning
- Ensuring the administrative follow-up of planning documents (PLUI) in conjunction with the intercommunality, and public inquiries
- As a member of the population services, they may be required to supplement other missions within the population services, particularly reception and the celebration of marriages.
Skills/Requirements/
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of the public territorial service, public law
- Experience in urban planning and/or civil status would be a plus
- Sense of public service
- Capacity for initiative
- Guarantor of the image of the public service: attendance, punctuality, rigor, amiability, patience, sense of listening, diplomacy
- Necessary availability towards users, services, and elected officials
- Discretion and professional secrecy
