Patient Services Representative-Part Time

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Part Time, Fill-In position.

• The individual in this position meets patients at the reception desk and/or admissions desk.
• The individual is responsible for gathering and accurately inputting all relevant registration information, as well as preparation of the daily clinic scheduler.
• The individual is responsible for pre-payment collection and insurance co-payment collection.
• This individual is also responsible for answering calls, transferring calls, taking messages, scheduling appointments, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
• The individual works closely with the Business Office in all Revenue Cycle functions.
• The work must be accomplished with integrity, sensitivity, and respect for the confidentiality and privacy of patients.

Pay is dependent on experience; position is part time with limited benefits.
