Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorney.
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments, meetings, hearings, and other legal matters.
- Coordinate scheduling with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
- Prepare, organize, scan, copy, and file legal documents and correspondence.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing documents and packages for mailing.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
- Assist with document preparation and formatting.
- Answer and direct phone calls and respond to routine correspondence.
- Assist with client communications and provide professional customer service.
- Track deadlines, appointments, and important case-related dates.
- Perform general office administration and maintain an organized and professional office environment.
- Assist attorney with various administrative and legal support tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive legal matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Prior experience working in a legal office is required.
- Paralegal education, knowledge, or prior paralegal experience is a bonus.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documents is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5pm
