Shop Foreman-Townsend

Kolar Tire & Auto is looking for a dedicated and experienced Tire Shop Foreman to lead our team of tire technicians in Townsend, Montana. This position is responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, ensuring high-quality tire services, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Supervise and direct the daily work of tire technicians
• Oversee the installation, balancing, repair, and maintenance of tires on various vehicle types
• Ensure all work meets Kolar Tire & Auto’s quality and safety standards
• Coordinate workflow to meet customer needs and maximize shop efficiency
• Train and mentor technicians on best practices and safety procedures
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking tires and supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment at all times
• Communicate effectively with customers and resolve any service-related concerns

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a tire shop environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of tire service equipment, procedures, and safety standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
