Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting the efficient procurement of goods and services required for the organization's operations, contributing to the overall success of the procurement function. This role supports capital purchasing. The role executes effective communication strategy with suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership. The role collaborates with internal and external teams to enhance the current operations and processes.
ResponsibilitiesProvides capital procurement support, focusing on multiple simple-to-complex commodities as well as specific technologies, to develop expertise.
Collaborates with internal and external partners to meet business objectives and ensure control and compliance across businesses. Focus on capital financial commits and strict deadlines.
Performs tasks as assigned and applies experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and participates in initiatives related to procurement to achieve or exceed performance metrics.
Partners with business owners to identify and onboard vendors, manage purchase requisitions, and oversee purchase orders.
Facilitates effective communication with suppliers, ensuring their understanding of policies, design standards, budget and cost targets, and service/quality expectations.
Negotiates contracts with suppliers and engages with suppliers for overseeing capital purchasing requirements.
Executes standard risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management and operations strategies.
Provides comprehensive training and support to various teams within the organization regarding the procurement process.
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, category management, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.

CompensationThe pay range for this role is $59,350 to $78,500 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
