Requirements

The Safety Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and execution of Conductor Power’s EHS program on assigned project(s). This role serves as the primary onsite EHS leader and client-facing safety point of contact, ensuring CPSMS requirements and client expectations are implemented consistently.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provides direct leadership, coaching, and oversight to Safety Representatives and Safety Coordinators assigned to the project, ensuring consistent execution of Conductor Power's EHS program and regulatory compliance. Partners with project leadership and subcontractors to promote accountability, reinforce safe work practices, and foster a strong culture of safety across the jobsite.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and implement Conductor Power's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct field safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations while driving corrective actions and continuous safety improvements.
  • Serve as the primary safety contact for clients, project teams, and subcontractors, promoting a strong culture of safety and accountability.
  • Plan and deliver safety training, onboarding, toolbox talks, and support for high-risk work activities to ensure safe project execution.
  • Mentor onsite safety staff, maintain audit-ready documentation, and provide regular reporting and updates to regional leadership.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of construction safety experience with a high school diploma or GED (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred); renewable energy construction experience (solar, BESS, or substations) preferred.
