Our client, a leading professional services firm in Malta, is currently looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their team and help shape the firm's approach in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance domain. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated compliance professional to lead client-facing projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure high-quality deliverables across medium risk assignments.
This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €55K.
Role & Responsibilities- Contribute to strategic planning and deliver aligned business projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Manage and deliver medium-risk projects, defining client requirements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues during project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
- Lead and mentor team members, manage resources effectively, and support recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and drive process improvements across the compliance function
- Develop client relationships, identify opportunities for further engagement, and provide valuable insights to support client decision-making
- Apply strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, including GDPR, to deliver practical and commercially sound solutions
- Conduct compliance audits, gap assessments, and regulatory projects, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and standards
- 5+ years in management, consulting, or operational roles
- MQF Level 6 qualification in business, law, or compliance
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, including GDPR
- Proven experience in compliance audits, gap assessments, and regulatory projects
- Skilled in project and change management, with the ability to adapt to evolving client needs
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong report writing, presentation, and client engagement abilities
- Adaptable, collaborative, and a natural leader with a proactive mindset
- Salary of up to €55K, depending on experience
