Day Care Lead Teacher

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Must have great verbal and written communication, planning, organizing and problem‑solving abilities. Supervise and manage all activities for a childcare classroom, write lesson plans, maintain appropriate forms, maintain daily contact with parents.

• Submit and pass a background check with Federal, Tribal and State law enforcement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Be free from the dysfunctional use of alcohol and illicit drugs and submit and pass a pre‑employment alcohol and drug screening.
• Be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs or more.
