Civil Engineering, Site Manager
The Project Administrator supports the successful execution of construction projects by assisting in coordination, documentation, and field operations. This role is ideal for someone with prior construction or engineering experience who can work more independently, contribute to problem-solving, and help drive projects forward while continuing to develop professionally.
Responsibilities- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to maintain project progress.
- Track project costs, quantities, and production to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Identify and help resolve field and design issues proactively.
- Assist in procurement and delivery tracking of materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- 2–5 years of construction or project engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of construction processes, plans, and specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with limited oversight.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience in excavation, utilities, or heavy civil construction.
- Familiarity with project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Understanding of cost tracking and scheduling principles.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
