Job Description

Login Technician I position at Eurofins Drinking Water and Waste Water West, located in Corvallis, OR. The role involves receiving samples, logging data from the Chain of Custody, and ensuring samples are handled according to standard operating procedures.

• Receive samples, unpack coolers, label containers, scan shipping documentation, and perform sample login.
• Data entry for sample login with a high level of attention to detail.
• Verify sample preservation following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Deliver samples to walk-in refrigerators or lab areas after receipt.
• Assist with sample disposal queue and actions.
• Produce bottle kits, add preservatives to containers, and perform shipping, receiving, and login duties.
• Ship samples to other laboratories as needed.
• Clean equipment—including glassware, coolers, sinks, tables, and samplers—using solvents, water, detergents, or acids according to SOPs.
• Provide customer service by assisting customers in person, via phone, or email.
• Assist clients with forms, process payments, and provide customer support as needed.
• Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for safe execution of work.
• Perform courier duties as needed to support laboratory and client requirements.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Explorer, Excel, Word).
• Ability to lift 55 lbs routinely and work standing for most of the day.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

• Professional, knowledgeable, confident, and friendly demeanor.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills and willingness to meet daily commitments with a variable workload.
• Basic chemistry knowledge is a plus but not required.

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm with potential overtime.

$19.00 – $22.60 per hour, DOE.
