CaDRE DE SANTE EN ODONTOLOGIE H/F
The Odontology department is located in the "hall" of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.
Two wings, East and West, are dedicated to patient care. The reception and tertiary sector are located at the West entrance.
Radiology, sterile supply, and pre-disinfection area are located at the East entrance.
Storage annexes and parking access are located one level below with staircase and elevator access.
This entire site is called site ABEL CAUMARTIN at the CHU campus level.
The department welcomes adult and child consultants of all ages. It includes:
- 68 dental chairs distributed in 5 clinical sectors allowing diversified and specialized care in many disciplines.
- 1 sedation care room specifically for conscious sedation
- 1 care room specifically for CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) of dental medical and surgical prostheses
- a radiology unit with panoramic, telecran, cone beam, and 2 retro-alveolar tubes. The other 3 retro-alveolar tubes are distributed within the department.
- 1 medical records archive sector with 1 location in each wing.
- a pre-disinfection unit and a sterile arsenal for dental medical and surgical prostheses.

The cadre works in close collaboration, in symbiosis, and in permanent consultation with the head of the department.
- Organize the activity of care and associated services.
- Ensure the efficiency and quality of services in liaison with the head of the department, medical and paramedical managers,
- Manage the team and coordinate the human and material resources of a care service,
- Participate in the medico-economic management within the service and the pole, follow-up of the activity indicators specific to the service,
- Implement, accompany and evaluate the care policy aimed at improving the quality and safety of care.
MAIN TASKS:
Care Management
- Design, elaboration, implementation, and readjustment of care tools,
- Elaboration of paramedical care activities on all grades in charge,
- Evaluation of the quality of care on a daily basis: the cadre is responsible for the quality of reception and care of the patient and his/her entourage.
Human Resources Management
- Supervise, animate, and motivate his team,
- Daily management of schedules, absences, and the forecast of authorized absences (annual leave, overtime, etc.),
- Maintain and promote the versatility of the staff to face occasional absenteeism,
- Adapt human resources according to activity and workload,
- Show rigor and impartiality towards staff while remaining diplomatic,
- Evaluate and value the staff,
- Stimulate the interest of the team in the elaboration of the training plan, care protocols, and their involvement in actions,
- Ensure regular and written follow-up (evaluation) of each agent under his responsibility and promote the career of the agent,
- Inform the team of professional developments: vigilance, responsibility, confidentiality, quality projects, establishment project, pole projects,
- Carry out recruitment interviews for specific functions such as dental assistant.
Equipment Management
- Carry out the maintenance follow-up of medical equipment,
- Participate in the elaboration of the medical equipment budget forecast,
- Carry out work and maintenance requests and their follow-up.
Budget Management, Follow-up of Indicators, Economic Contribution
- Carry out the follow-up of small sterilization and radiology equipment orders,
- Collaborate with senior management and the management cadre in the analysis of activity indicators, expenses, measure the gaps and their readjustments.
Communication and Organization
- Participate actively in pole and institutional meetings,
- Control and verify daily patient planning, according to events (emergencies, etc.),
- Favor interdisciplinary exchanges between sectors within the SMC pole,
- Ensure the link between the medical and paramedical teams,
