As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting dental providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience. Responsibilities may include:
- Assist dentists and other dental providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and provide compassionate chairside support.
- Assist with dental instruments, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Take and prepare dental X-rays when appropriately trained and authorized.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
- Provide patients with appropriate post-treatment instructions as directed by the provider.
- Monitor and maintain dental supplies and inventory.
- Support front-office or administrative functions when needed.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and the healthcare team.
- Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Previous Dental Assistant experience /required .
- Current certifications, licenses, or registrations required by the facility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
