This is a tech / industry oriented in a state of the art wood and medal shop.
Working with Middle and High School students to design and build projects in our Wood and Metal shops, to include IB Design Technology. Attention to safety, organization, and teaching proper shop etiquette and behavior are primary elements. The iterative design process (Initial Design, Modifying Design based on feedback, and troubleshooting that design during the build phase) are the foundation to every project.
The position requires multi-tasking and on the go troubleshooting.
Experience with Autodesk’s Fusion, Adobe Creative Cloud, and the CAD/CAM/CNC workflow, or the desire to learn new technologies and techniques is required in our advanced HS program.
Salary is DOE and district subsidized housing may be available.
