Interventional Cardiologist

Overview

Providence is seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Interventional Cardiologist to join the Heart Institute of Montana with a dedicated team of 14 cardiologists and 3 cardiothoracic surgeons. This opportunity is split between Dillon and Butte, Montana. The position is for an Interventional Cardiologist only and will not include structural work.

The role emphasizes outreach and serving rural locations with the exciting opportunity to build this program. Dillon offers a high quality of life and a welcoming community.

• Supervision and interpretation of echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and heart rhythm monitors (where applicable per campus).
• Represent the Providence Heart Institute as both a cardiac care provider and an ambassador for the programs.
• Provide education to peers in rural communities as part of the team-building efforts.
• Collaborate with peers in Missoula and Hamilton for program support.
• Note:
  
  This position is not a hospital-based role and does not carry required call. There is an opportunity to support call, but it is not a requirement.

• Full-time position with a 4-day week consisting of clinic days in Dillon at Barret Hospital & Health Care and lab days in Butte es Hospital.
• No call requirements (as described).
• Base salary plus production/incentive structure.

• Ideal candidate is motivated, compassionate, with strong training and clinical experience.
• Primary focus on coronary diagnostics and elective coronary intervention.
• Peripheral interventional expertise is a plus.
