Location: Ovando
We are seeking Board-Certified Cardiologists for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Ovando, MT. This position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient coverage and the chance to work in a scenic, serene region of Montana. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate personal and professional commitments. Assignment Details:

Scheduled clinical hours plus call. Setting :
Outpatient clinic and inpatient rounds. Nuclear cardiology interpretations (preferred but not required). Supportive team including advanced practitioners and nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general cardiology services, including:
Patient consultations in an ambulatory clinic (Monday to Friday, 8 am5 pm). Rounding on hospitalized patients. Supervise and collaborate with a team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) . Participate in nuclear cardiology reads (if certified). Cover scheduled call assignments, typically requiring a 20-minute response time. Assignment

Specific dates include coverage during key holiday periods and high-demand times. Examples of priority dates:
March 324, 2025 (spring break coverage). May 23
June 2, 2025 (holiday coverage). July 1828, 2025 (high-demand summer coverage). December 19, 2025
January 5, 2026 (holiday coverage). Additional Information:

Approximately 912 patients per shift . EMR System:
Epic . Licensure:
Must be licensed in Montana or eligible via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) .
Certifications:
ACLS required;
Board Certification in Cardiology required. Temporary hospital privileges are available for qualifying candidates. Benefits:
