Vascular Surgery Opportunity

Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join our team. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive vascular procedures in a full-scope practice from complex open procedures to minimally invasive interventions. The practice employs 1 cardiothoracic surgeon and 1 cardiothoracic vascular surgeon in the heart and vascular department, 5 general surgeons (non-vascular) in the surgical department, and 3 interventional radiologists in the radiology department.

The clinical-to-surgical ratio is balanced, optimizing surgical skills and work satisfaction. Call schedules are reasonable depending on practice desires, supporting work-life balance. There is robust support staff and advanced practice providers for enhanced efficiency and patient care. The facility includes 10 operating rooms with Davinci robotics (Xi and
5), a brand new hybrid OR, and an onsite ASC. It is a Level II trauma center with an Epic electronic medical record and good clinical support staffing structures. This is a hospital employed opportunity with nationally competitive compensation structures with guaranteed salaries plus productivity and performance bonuses. Benefits include 8 weeks paid time off (6 PTO, 2 CME), a generous sign-on/relocation bonus, annual $5,000 CME plus $1,000 license/dues, 5-7% retirement match plus 457b program, and paid malpractice plus tail.

This health system has two campuses with 344 licensed acute care beds, a 124 bed nursing home, and a 12 bed residential Hospice. It serves an area of 15 counties with approximately 225,000 people. The system is the largest hospital in Montana, a Level II Trauma Center, and has Mercy Flight air-transport based out of its state-of-the-art Emergency Department. It also houses a Cancer Institute with Cyber Knife, one of only a few in the nation and the only one in the entire state, a Heart Institute, state-of-the-art operating rooms and equipment.

In October 2009, a new patient tower opened which includes Women and Children's Services, Neonatology, Radiology, and a Heart and Vascular Institute. This community has a population of just under 60,000. Settled around the Missouri River, this area provides numerous arts, cultural, outdoor, and entertainment activities.
