Drama Teacher

GSL Education London Branch are excited to be looking for a passionate and experienced Drama Teacher to join a welcoming and coeducational secondary school in Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative Drama Teacher who can inspire students and bring energy, confidence, and imagination into the classroom.

As a Drama Teacher
, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that encourage self-expression, teamwork, and performance skills. The school is supportive, well-resourced, and values the impact a strong Drama Teacher can have on student confidence and achievement. • Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment as a Drama Teacher
• Encourage student participation, creativity, and confidence
• Assess student progress and provide clear feedback
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Work collaboratively with other staff and departments
• Support school productions and performance-based activities where required

• Qualified Drama Teacher with relevant teaching experience
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of mixed abilities
• Good knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
