School Counseling

Location: Reed Point

The Reed Point School District is seeking a part-time School Counselor, for the  school year.  You can set your schedule! One day a week, two days a week, half days...we are flexible and happy to work with you.

Applicants must hold  the appropriate endorsement or be able to secure licensure prior to August 2025. Applicants may bring up to 5 years experience. Our district offers individual tele-health.

We have some of the funniest, hard working kids here and I feel like we make it a place where they can be themselves. As a staff we're pretty easy going personality-wise, which is nice.”

Each of our classrooms include interactive boards and students have access to both iPads and Chromebooks.  We are a Google school and students have become accustomed to Google Classroom.

Extracurricular opportunities, with stipends, may include coaching may be available.

Reed Point Schools is a small class C school with approximately 60 students K-12 annually.  Currently, we have thirteen teachers and seven support staff. We are located in south central Montana between Billings and Bozeman, right off I-90.  We are within easy drive access to Red Lodge Mountain and Bridger Bowl ski areas, as well as the Beartooth, Absaroka and Crazy Mountain ranges.

The Yellowstone River flows alongside the community providing other recreational opportunities.  Annually Reed Point hosts The Great Montana Sheep Drive and is a stop for the Yellowstone Boat Float. Housing is generally available in our surrounding communities of Columbus and Big Timber.
