Elementary Curriculum

Geraldine Public Schools has an opportunity for a new combined first and second-grade teacher in our elementary school for the 2025-26 school year, open to a highly qualified elementary candidate. GPS offers an exceptional working and supportive environment, where a classroom aide will support the candidate for two periods per day, and an on-site mentor will be available for two days per week.

In addition to these in-person resources, our elementary school also boasts multiple special education case managers, a full-time counselor, a brand-new Savvas ELA curriculum, and utilizes PAX at all grade levels, as well as provides access to IXL.

We have also recently received the MT Reads Literacy Grant, and will receive nearly one million dollars in resources over the next four years. The majority of those resources will be making available high-quality professional development in the science of reading, an Instructional Coach to support all teachers at all levels in the science of reading, an MTSS mentor to assist with fine-tuning our system with fidelity, and all new curricula at all levels!
