The Role:
Preparing Students for Life
We are seeking a passionate, team-oriented educator for 7–12 Family and Consumer Science, dedicated to making learning hands-on, meaningful, and relevant for all students. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging lessons that teach essential life skills, including nutrition, personal finance, child development, and career readiness. You will foster a welcoming classroom where students feel confident exploring real-world challenges.
As a valued member of our CTE Professional Learning Community (PLC), you will collaborate with colleagues to enhance student growth and use tools like Chromebooks and Infinite Campus to support instruction and track progress. If you are a creative, tech-savvy teacher who thrives on collaboration and preparing students for success, we’d love to have you join our team.
Compensation & Benefits
- We offer a package that respects your expertise and supports your future:
Starting Salary: $42,863 to $50,863 (MA +10 with no experience)
Experience Credit:
We credit up to four years of prior experience. New hires can earn up to $55,663 (MA + 10)
Health & Wellness: $830/month district contribution toward health insurance.
Professional Support: $1,500 annual educational reimbursement plus district-paid license renewal fees.
Teaching License Fee covered by the District
