This role involves providing psychological services across multiple school locations, requiring travel within the region to effectively serve diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to promote positive behavioral strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing IEPs
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and psychological testing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage travel between school sites efficiently
