SALARY RANGE:
2025-26: $$41,613 - $57,436 annual determined by education and experience; 2026-27 TBD.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Montana endorsed K-8 Elementary Education teacher who is capable of teaching students with a wide range of abilities in 4th grade. Successful candidate is expected to support the overall success, safety, and positive climate of the school, provide active supervision during assigned duties; maintain safe, organized, and welcoming classrooms; and model respectful, professional behavior at all times. They will successfully use data to guide instruction and differentiate to support all learners as well as participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives, uphold confidentiality and district policies, and contribute to a positive, solution-focused school culture while performing additional duties as assigned to support effective school operations.
DESIRED
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful applicants will be expected to follow the Standards of the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI), write lesson plans that cover and assess those standards and align with district curriculum, be appropriately licensed and endorsed in accordance with state statutes and Board of Public Education rules, and have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, parents, staff, and the community.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to the Elementary School Building Principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
* This position is a 1.0 FTE, 166-day contract days based on a 4-day school week calendar.
* Position qualifies for insurance and retirement benefits.
