Rocky Boy School District is searching for a dynamic, energetic teacher to fill an opening within our primary grades as a Sixth Grade Teacher for teh 2019-20 school year. Class size is anticipated at 19-23 students with two teachers assigned at this grade level. This is a self-contained position for the core areas, with students , with students attending classes with other certified teachers for PE, Music, Art, and Cree Language.
Teachers are supported by ample professional development opportunities. We hire candidates who are highly motivated, team players to plan, implement, and instruct an interactive elementary curriculum focued on academic excellence. Candidates must possess and exhibit proficiency in technoklogy (computers/tablets,iPads, Smart Boards, digital hardware & amp; media, interactive applications, Infinite Campus grade books, software, etc.)
Must have endorsement in OOE-Elementary Curriculum, Montana certified or be able to obtain Montana certification.
Our district also pays $11,446 into a flex benefits package (district insurance-MUST Blue Cross/Blue Shield/taxable income/private insurance). Aup to ten years experience allowed into the District. Negotiations between Teachers Union and District are just beginning and our on-line application located on this website. Standard application package requires (cover letter, resume, district application, college transcripts, copy of certifiction, placement/credential file or 3 current letters of reference.
District Housing may be available. Successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check (fingerprint.
