Substitute Teacher – St. Labre
Fills in as substitute teacher when necessary by performing the duties listed below. Assists students with class work in the Student Support Center when not performing substitute teacher duties.
Substitutes for regular teaching staff as assigned by the principal.
Provides individual help to students as assigned by the principal.

Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.E.) Applicable teaching certification preferred.
Ability to teach moral and spiritual values to youth.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and staff.
Ability to deal effectively with questions or problems, seeking assistance when needed.
Strong organizational skills.
Respects the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ in private, personal, and public life.
Commitment to the mission of the Roman Catholic Church in Native American education.
Sensitivity to, and appreciation of Native American people and their cultures.
Ability to serve as an appropriate role model for students.
Applicable teaching certification preferred. Valid Montana drivers license.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
