Key Responsibilities
Develop and oversee Catholic RE programs for all age groups
Create and submit an annual program plan (calendar, curriculum, budget)
Prepare classrooms and materials for all sessions
Monitor program quality and ensure effective instruction
Plan and coordinate:
- Vacation Bible School (VBS)
- Christmas programs
- Religious education kickoff events
- Volunteer appreciation events (up to 6 annually)
Organize and support additional chapel activities as approved
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer teachers and staff
Maintain volunteer rosters and substitute coverage
Conduct at least two training workshops annually
Required QualificationsAbility to manage a multi-faceted religious education program
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Experience working with volunteers
Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Must obtain certification through the Archdiocese of Military Services (AMS)
Work ScheduleAverage 20 hours per week (flexible based on program needs)
Hours may vary depending on events, planning, and program cycles
Must ensure full coverage of all scheduled programs
