Position Details
General Statement
- The program is currently seeking part-time (less than 20 hours per week) Clinical Adjunct Instructors to provide clinical instruction to LPN and RN students on Mondays and Tuesdays. Candidates should have current experience in bedside care or precepting, with a background in acute care, critical care, long-term care, or specialty areas. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to mentor and guide future nurses through hands-on clinical education.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide constructive clinical feedback to students in a clinical setting at Local Great Falls Area facilities. Facilitate lab experiences for students learning new skills and concepts. Maintain current knowledge in specific subjects teaching and current educational methodology. concepts consistent with teaching assignments. Participate in the process of program accreditation through the ACENA. Attend program meetings when scheduled. Complete required Great Falls College training.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Completion of a degree in nursing. Unencumbered Nursing License in the State of Montana or be eligible for licensure. Minimum of at least 2 years clinical experience in direct care nursing. Current BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Teaching experience in a post-secondary educational institute. Preceptor or training experience at a facility.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Computer skills.
