Summary

Under the supervision of the principal or other supervisor, the teacher assistant assists the teacher with conducting a class. The assistance takes a variety of forms, such as preparing class materials, correcting and recording assignments, and a wide variety of other services.

Classified position is announced to all applicants. This position will remain open until filled. 3.6 hours per day/174 days per year. Salary Grade 3 $ 17.24 per hour (2026‑27 Support Salary Table). Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase for a promotion.

This is a Bridges Math Teacher Assistant position. Will be working with students K‑6th in the Bridges Program.

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree; or the ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional Test.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Secretarial/clerical skills, including ability to operate a computer may be required.
