This position requires a qualified individual to provide mentorship and professional support to special education teachers and paraprofessionals. The role involves coaching on best practices in instruction, accommodations, and modifications, as well as supporting staff with curriculum planning, instructional design, and behavior support strategies. The candidate will also collaborate with school administrators and department heads to improve service delivery and program implementation.
Additionally, the role includes maintaining caseload management duties, providing direct instruction, conducting student assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations governing special education.
Employment: 187 days (possibility of additional work days dependent on need and budget)
