Home School Coordinator

Browning Public Schools Home School Coordinator Browning Middle School Type:
For the  School Year. 9-month position (187 days), as defined in classified collective bargaining agreement. Supervised by Principal or designee. Eligibility:
High school graduate or GED (must submit copy of transcript or certificate with application). Two (2) years of experience and or education working with students in an academic capacity or related field. Must have clean criminal record (no felony or multiple misdemeanors). Valid Montana driver's license, or ability to obtain. Duties:
Serves as a liaison between parents of students and the district. Establishes positive lines of communication and encourages active participation, by the parents and community members, in the academic and social lives of students.

Qualifications:

Required:

Two (2) years' experience/education working with children; good work habits; certain physical abilities including ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Preferred:
Knowledge of local customs, community and families. Previous experience in a school setting. Familiarity with communication devices and local emergency services. Working ability in keyboarding and familiarity with desktop computers, preferably Microsoft operating system. Salary:
Hourly rate per Classified Salary Schedule, Lane 3/ Step 1, $22.75 Benefits:
Per classified agreement includes leave (following waiting period), health insurance (currently paid by the District), and retirement. Pre-employment Requirements:
