Adjunct Faculty, Information Literacy
Felician University is offering exciting opportunities for Adjunct Faculty in Information Literacy in the School of Arts and Sciences, University Library Department for the academic year. Under the mentorship of full-time faculty, adjunct faculty provide classroom experiences grounded in “best practices” for higher education and their respective disciplines.

Position TypePart‑time, 1‑2 courses per semester, maximum 3 days per week. Day and evening classes, online and traditional formats available.

Required EducationMaster’s degree in Library and/or Information Science from an ALA or AASL accredited school or Master’s degree in Communications.
Qualifications- 1+ years’ experience teaching information literacy at the baccalaureate level
- Familiarity with the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy
- Current working knowledge of library databases and internet resources
- Proficiency in navigating online learning management platforms, especially for D2L Brightspace
- Ability and willingness to work on both the Lodi and Rutherford campuses
- Willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University
