Internship Opportunity:
Electrical Engineer
Le Laboratoire Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern for its production site based in Saint-Amand les Eaux (59).
During this internship, you will have the following responsibilities:
Within the Electrical Team, your main missions will be:
- Strengthening the current electrical distribution
- Listing and preparing the pre-project phases to improve the existing system
- Supporting ongoing or upcoming projects
In practice:
- Automation:
- Energy Monitoring:
Listing existing hardware and software. Defining the degree of obsolescence.
Preparing the replacement of the current system.
As a project manager you will be in charge of:
- Leading meetings with the subcontractor who deploys the technical solution.
- Involving GSK stakeholders (automatism service, IT, utilities).
- Phase and coordinate the deployment of the solution.
- Deploy and execute the operation tests.
Your profile:
- Student in Bac+4/+5 or higher in an Engineering School
- Good command of English written and spoken
- Good writing skills
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- Knowledge of the lifecycle of the drug and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Mastery of the Office Pack

Involved for more than 60 years in vaccinology, GSK is a leading pharmaceutical company in this field. To dedicate itself to the discovery and production of vaccines for children, adolescents and adults in more than a hundred countries, and in particular in the most disadvantaged regions, the GSK Vaccines division has 15 strategically positioned production sites around the world, and employs more than 16,000 people.
Its portfolio is 30 commercialized vaccines and 16 vaccines under development. GSK Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (59), close to Lille and Valenciennes, is a site entirely dedicated to the manufacturing (formulation, aseptic filling and lyophilization) and packaging of GSK vaccines. The role of the site is to produce and supply vaccines that meet the main public health challenges. The ambition of Saint-Amand is to guarantee the highest quality standards thanks to its most advanced technologies worldwide and the commitment of its teams.
The Saint-Amand-les-Eaux site, which employs about 800 people, manufactures a wide range of vaccines from the GSK portfolio and has very important growth prospects in the coming years. The production capacity of the site is 300 million doses per year, and its growth prospects are very important in the coming years.
