This position is for a Senior Electromechanical Engineer in an R&D company located in Butte, Montana. The role focuses on engineering and manufacturing solutions with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and an advanced degree in Electromechanical Engineering.
Salary$90,000 - $125,000 per year

- Take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion.
- Generate project requirements and support the development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare design specifications, analyses, and recommendations for management approval.
- Design mechanical solutions for prototype, pre‑commercial, and new commercial products in an advanced product development environment, emphasizing quality for industrial manufacturing clients.
- Demonstrate solid technical leadership and experience in designing products for manufacture.
- Lead or participate in teams, maintaining a strong work ethic and leadership qualities throughout project life cycles.
- Show enthusiasm for working in a diverse, technically demanding, and innovative environment.
- Exhibit exceptional electromechanical/machine design capabilities, including extensive product development and design-for-manufacturing experience.
- Design and prototype pre-commercial and complex commercial products.
- Develop and complete product designs both as a team member and independently, as directed by management.
- Prepare technical documentation, including system layouts, component specifications, and calibration instructions.
- Apply strong CAD and CAE design and analysis skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred).
- Ten years of experience in electromechanical design.
- Proficiency in Solid Works.
