Flux Resources is seeking a Part-time Site Technician to join one of our clients in Paradise Montana.
Our client is looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, previous experience with environmental remediation is preferred. They would have to have or be able to get HAZWOPER training.
Projected Duration
- On-going
Target rate- $20-$40/hr
Job requirements:
- Part time (1-2 days per week) of site maintenance at an active remediation site.
- Tasks include product recovery, groundwater sampling, light mechanical repairs, mowing, waste storage area inspections, and associated paperwork.
- Client site specific screenings
- Must have or be willing to obtain HAZWOPER 40 hour (40 hrs of initial training, 8 hr annual refresher), eRailsafe verification for BNSF (renewed every 2 years, ~1 hr), BNSF Contractor Training (renewed annually - ~1 hr) - No college degree required, Tech level role only ground water sampling w/ training Ground water wells / recovery activities, pumping out wells, site maintenance, site mowing, completing paperwork.
- Potential for other opportunities at other client sites.
- Candidates must show they are detail orientated, good with record keeping, can follow instructions, ask leadership for advisement, keep up inspection notes, work to ensure waste is stored properly, water sampling alone, following Client check-list properly, Lift 40lbs, confirm fit for duty, HAZWOPER 40 hour training, be willing to obtain eRailsafe verification for BNSF same background check/security card.
- Be willing to work outdoors all year-round, while working out of trailer onsite, DMV check may be required to operate Client site vehicle-driving own vehicle to site.
- Other examples is if they are required to move a trailer onsite, need a candidate mechanically inclined.
- HAZWOPER 40 hrs of initial training, 8 hr annual refresher, schedule will be Part time (1-2 days per week) of site maintenance at an active remediation site two periods with extra sampling on annual basis Majority of time, one day per week.
