Location: Malmstrom Air Force Base
Chipton-Ross is seeking 15 Product Repair/Mod Tech C for a contract opportunity in Malmstrom AFB, MT. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Minimum of 3 years' experience with Military aircraft maintenance.
* Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
* Must be willing to work variable shifts. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Mechanic, Avionics & Structures positions available
* Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
* Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
* Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
* Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
* Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
* Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
* Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
* Works under general direction. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications.
* Experience with rotorcraft maintenance.
* Hold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License.
* General Mechanic experience desirable. REQUIRED EDUCATION
* Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.). WORK HOURS
* Full-Time
* Must be able to work all shifts 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 1st shift to start. ADDITIONAL
* Candidate must hold an active secret clearance. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
