Why This Job – Process EngineerWe’ve partnered with a client to help them find a hands-on Process Engineer who wants to be in the plant solving real operational problems, not sitting behind a desk all day. This is a newly created role built around optimizing flotation, grinding, and plant performance while leading meaningful improvement projects across the operation.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, process optimization, and seeing immediate results from their work. The team is looking for someone who can work directly alongside operators, maintenance, and leadership to improve recoveries, throughput, and efficiency while helping drive the next phase of operational improvements at the plant.
What You’ll Actually Do- Spend significant time in the plant working directly with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and improve operations.
- Optimize flotation, grinding, classification, and sizing systems to improve recovery rates and plant performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement practical process improvements that create measurable operational impact.
- Lead small capital improvement projects
