As a Process Engineering – Simulation Pro Sim Engineer, you will join a passionate team that designs and optimizes the first chemical recycling units by ionic depolymerization. Your expertise in modeling and simulation will allow you to contribute to imagining innovative processes, improving their energy and environmental efficiency, and directly contributing to the design of sustainable equipment.

Position RequirementsAttached to the Process Unit of the R&D Department, you will be at the heart of the development and optimization of our solutions. Your main tasks will be:
- Design, model, and simulate chemical recycling processes using the Pro Sim software.
- Develop material and energy balances, PID/PFD, define optimal operating conditions, and evaluate process performance.
- Participate in the design and optimization of equipment (reactors, columns, exchangers, etc.) in collaboration with mechanical design and automation teams.
- Contribute to the scale-up of processes, operational phases, and FAT/SAT tests.
- Analyze data, results, and existing processes to identify improvement opportunities and participate in the technical validation of solutions.
- Conduct technological and scientific surveillance on new methods and tools related to green chemistry and recycling.
Your Profile
- Degree in process engineering, chemistry, or equivalent.
- Significant first experience in process modeling (Pro Sim).
- Good knowledge of material/energy balances, transfer phenomena, and unit operations (distillation, extraction, reaction, etc.).
- Strong interest in clean technologies, waste valorization, and environmental issues.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly your results and recommendations.
- Curious, rigorous, and a force of proposal.
