, we're building one of the fastest-growing online sports books in the Netherlands. We're looking for a passionate Sports CRM Specialist who understands the Dutch sports betting market and knows how to create engaging, data-driven customer experiences.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing and analyzing CRM campaigns across the entire sports book customer lifecycle, while also supporting selected casino initiatives and high-value player campaigns. Working closely with the Sports book, CRM, Digital, VIP, Product and BI teams, you ll help deliver personalized experiences that increase engagement, retention and player value in a responsible and compliant way.
This role is ideal for someone who combines a genuine passion for Dutch sports with a strong analytical mindset and a love for testing, optimization and customer engagement.
YOUR ROLE- Plan, build, execute and optimize Sports CRM campaigns across email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging and onsite communications.
- Manage the sports book promotional calendar around key sporting events including the Eredivisie, Champions League, Premier League, Formula 1, Tennis, Darts, UFC and more.
- Create engaging customer journeys throughout the player lifecycle, from onboarding and activation to retention, reactivation and loyalty.
- Support selected Casino CRM campaigns and cross-sell initiatives where relevant.
- Assist in the execution of campaigns for our High Value Player (HVP/VIP) segment, ensuring a personalized customer experience.
- Work closely with Trading, Marketing, BI, Product, VIP and Design teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
- Analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour and segmentation to continuously improve results.
- Develop A/B tests and make data-driven recommendations to improve conversion, engagement and retention.
- Build targeted audiences based on betting behaviour, customer value, interests and lifecycle stage.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and provide weekly reporting with clear insights and recommendations.
- Stay up to date with competitors, industry trends and innovations within the Dutch sports betting market.
- Ensure all CRM activities comply with Dutch regulations and responsible gaming requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of CRM experience, preferably within online sports betting, iGaming or another data-driven digital environment.
- Strong understanding of the Dutch sports landscape and sports betting customer behaviour.
- Passion for Dutch sports, major sporting events and sports book promotions.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Optimove, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign data and customer insights.
- Comfortable working with customer segmentation, A/B testing and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience across multiple CRM channels including Email, Push Notifications, SMS and In-App messaging.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Curious, proactive and always looking for ways to improve customer experience.
- Experience with Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with High Value/VIP players is considered a plus.
- Business fluent in Dutch and English. French is an advantage but not required.
