Riverside Casino and Golf resort has an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the casino industry and attend Dealer School! We are dedicated to ensuring every graduate possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to become a qualified Casino Dealer. This course will teach you how to become a successful in the games of Blackjack, Poker and other popular table games.
EssentialFunctions
- Train to deal assigned games in an accurate manner, according to standard rules, company procedures and applicable gaming regulations.
- Train to shuffle and deal cards accurately to customers.
- Train to quickly and accurately calculate face value of cards.
- Train to exchange cash for proper denominations of chips.
- Train to pick up losing bets and cards from customer’s betting area.
- Train to pay winning bets and place chips in appropriate place.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No experience is necessary.
- Ability to attend dealer school to learn policies and procedures of the games.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License.
- Must be able to quickly and accurately perform basic mathematical functions and calculate payouts mentally.
- Must be able to work in a loud, smoky environment with flashing lights.
Full-Time that varies based on events and holidays and includes days, nights and weekends.
$15.00/hour (including premium pay) with 40 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire
