Operations Specialist

Job Title: Operations Specialist (May be hired on a contract)

Location: Tribal Credit Office, Pablo, Montana

Operates and supports daily financial operations, including cash handling and transaction recording, within the Tribal Credit Office.

• Cash receipting, transacting, and accurate customer record keeping.
• Maintain composure in a fast‑paced, highly interactive work environment.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently both verbally and in writing with team members, other departments, third‑party service providers and the general public.
• Sustain attention to detail to complete multiple tasks timely and accurately.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year clerical and cash handling experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting practices and procedures (preferred).
• Technical capacity to operate standard office equipment, operating software, loan servicing systems, imaging/records‑management tools.
• Ability to pass a criminal and financial background check.
• Commitment to adhere to Tribal Resolution 06‑48 regarding the Code of Conduct for Tribal employees and appointed officials.
• Will be subject to a 6‑month probationary period and may be employed under a contract.

Pay rate of $15.15 to $17.41 per hour, inclusive of benefits. Pre‑hire drug testing and a 6‑month probationary period are required.
