Shift Type: Weekday swing shifts (exact times vary), rotating schedule that includes 12-hour weekend shifts and additional weekdays to meet a guaranteed 36 hours/week; rotating (includes weekends)

• Perform accurate and timely blood banking testing using Ortho/vision blood banking analyzers to support safe transfusion care
• Run clinical chemistry assays on Ortho Vitros platforms and interpret quality control results
• Operate Epic Beaker for order processing, result entry, and documentation to keep patient charts current
• Follow laboratory safety, compliance, and quality assurance protocols to ensure reliable results
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to communicate critical results and support patient care decisions
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and coordinate maintenance or escalation as needed

• Active MT (Medical Technologist) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Hands-on experience with Epic Beaker
• Experience using Ortho/vision blood banking analyzers and Ortho Vitros chemistry systems
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working rotating schedules including weekends

• Blood banking principles and transfusion testing
• Clinical chemistry methodologies and quality control
• Epic Beaker laboratory information system workflows
• Operation and troubleshooting of automated analyzers (Ortho platforms)
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
