We're looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Dillon, MT. The right RT should have 1 year of recent acute care experience.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds easily; lift up to 50 pounds when necessary for patient handling.
• Meet vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• At least 1 year of acute care respiratory therapy experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• RRT certification.
• Optional: PALS and NRP certifications (may be required for some areas).
• Ability to pass physical demands and vision requirements described above.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
